A Truly Special Day to Experience Japanese Culture

I got to dive right into Japanese culture, and it honestly felt so special. I learned that every kimono design has its own story and meaning, which I thought was really cool. Watching how carefully everything was done ― and then finally seeing myself fully dressed ― was such a wow moment!

The traditional Japanese house and garden created such a peaceful and authentic atmosphere, making the whole experience unforgettable.

It was our 30th wedding anniversary trip to Japan.
Wearing the traditional wedding kimono brought back the feelings we had on our wedding day 30 years ago. Memories of our children’s growth and all the moments we’ve shared over the years came flooding back. The beautiful Japanese garden and the peaceful atmosphere truly soothed our hearts.

Unlike the clothes we usually wear, we were amazed by the unique way kimono are worn — wrapping a single piece of fabric around the body and tying it with cords.
The intricate decorations on the garments were absolutely breathtaking.
At first, I was thinking of choosing the lightest-colored kimono, but I’m so glad I followed the advice and chose a more vibrant one — it turned out to be perfect.

It was also very convenient that we could change inside the building and step right into the stunning garden just outside for the photo session.
